I may not have the best car but I OWN IT! I may not be in a relationship but I am loved by many! I may not have a job but I have wealth just not the kind you may think! I have a Testimony of Jesus Christ  nothing will ever change that! Dont you dare Judge me on what others have told you about me. If you want to know me get to know ME. I will not be put down by others and what they have to say about me and my situation. This is my life! You have your own to worry about. If you dont like me or care enough to tell me the truth than get out. I am grateful for those who stand by me and have never left my side! Thank You

Update on the Little Guy

Two Months ago Jayse had Decompression surgery... His Mom Put This on Facebook yesterday and i thought I would share

"Today marks 2 months since Jayson's Chiari decompression surgery. Here are the miracles we have seen looking at BEFORE surgery and AFTER:

*before: apnea episodes nearly every night, had to shake him to get him to breathe. After: not a single central apnea episode
*before: greatly regressed in his swallowing and didn't eat anything by mouth for about 2 months. After: he s eating 12 ounces of stage 2&3 baby foods every day, puffs, crackers, baby snacks, etc.
*before: Jayson was aspirating daily and especially during any feeds with thick and thin liquids. After: he passed his swallowing get and is now learning to drink thick and thin liquids
*before: j was on 3/4 liter of oxygen day and night, and would still desat frequently. After: j has been off of oxygen for two weeks now with minimal desats
*before: he had poor neck and easier control, couldn't sit up, couldn't put weight on his legs, wouldn't reach for toys or respond to play. After: he p,ays, rolls, sits up, holds his head up and travels around the oom all day. He reaches IR toys and biter acts with them. He can put weight on his legs and stood independently for 1 second.
*he is also babbling, saying momma and noms, happy all the time, has more energy, tracking better with his eyes, is healthier, is more cognitively aware and interactive, and has many less headaches.

This procedure has been a blessing and we are amazed at the progress Jayson has made in two short months. I am such a grateful and proud momma"

Being A Nanny and Why I Chose My Profession

When Anyone Asks What I Do I Say I am a Nanny For A Special Needs Little Boy. But They Know Little Of what i actually do for my little Jayse man. So i thought i would share what i do to help Mike, Tristin, and Jayse Out. Mid 2012 I Got a call from Tristin asking if i would go to Park City with her and help out with Jayse. I Graciously Accepted and in June we went ( Here Is A Link To That Post) It went really well and had a blast. In July she asked me to be his nanny. I learned how to take care of him like giving him his medicines, refill his bag for feeding, Fixing the tube if it was kinked or clogged, use his monitor, His Physical Exercises, ETC. Tristin Also Had Knee surgery so i would assist her by loading him, unloading him, pushing around the stroller, ETC when going to Doctors Appointments. By Going to those appointments I learned more and more about his conditions and how to better take care of him to help him improve. I was also grateful to go with her because it wasn't all good news all the time. I am glad she wasn't alone when she got those news. My Job is more than taking care of Jayse its taking care of that wonderful family. I am Really Grateful to be apart of their lives.
Now to why i chose to do what i do. I was in my Junior year of High School. I was debating what i wanted to do my senior year. I wanted to do something more than take the normal classes so I could get out of there as soon as i could. I wanted to make something out of my life. I had been taking some Concurrent Enrollment Classes like Finance 1010 and Poli Sci.  I Did pretty well in both of those classes. I Saw that SLCC had a Tech program so i took a pamphlet thinking maybe. Well i looked thru it and something caught my eye. Certified Nurses Assistant Program and thought hmm. I looked more thru the pamphlet but didnt see anything else that caught my eye like that did. Later that week I was in my computer class and they had some other students come from the SLCC Tech Program and came to speak on it. They were talking about business management and entrepreneurship that sort of thing. I Had been looking into that sort of thing for a little while. Well i took their pamphlet and looked at it too. I was leaning towards the Business Program. But i didn't get a good feeling about it. After a lot of pondering and praying. I chose CNA Program even though i wasn't really into it as i should have been. But I knew I made the right decision. Now for the next problem.. the financial part of it. It was going to cost about $200 and i certainly did not have that kind of money. So i went to my mom and dad knowing that i wanted to do this and i had already made up my mind. We had decided on using the money out of our college funds cause that was what it was for anyway and would have cost way more if i had waited until after i had graduated. Now was the next part the entrance exam. I went to the SLCC Campus at the scheduled time for my program. One of the Most nerve wracking tests that i have ever taken. After a couple of weeks I would get a letter in the mail saying whether or not. After what felt like an eternity i got the letter saying that i had gotten in and that i would start in January 2012 and would be in the afternoon.  Thats where my journey began and as you can see i did end up making the right decision :)

Who knew that i would make a decision that would change not only my life but the lives around me too :) Plus I Love what i do you cant get better than that.

If you have any questions dont hesitate to leave a comment i will get back to you as soon as i can thanks for reading :)
